Cortland

This is the Cortland. The classic shape is inspired by our classic colonial The Wellington, but we've added tons of modern farmhouse goodies to the exterior to bring it into this decade. This 3 bedroom floorplan features dark windows with modern grills, window lineals, rustic covered porch, and farmhouse inspired gable accents that all comine to give this home some much needed contemporary charm. We also threw in a standing seam metal roof over the porch for a little more upscale flare without breaking the bank.

On the first floor we've ditched a formal dining room in favor of an open kitchen and great room and galley kitchen. We've updated the entryway with a half bath, stacked washer and dryer unit, and a mudroom with plenty of space for all the coats and shoes of a growing family. The flex room provides space for a home office for someone working remotely, or perhaps a playroom or just extra hosting space!

Like all of our 110th Anniversary plans, this one has an optional rear covered porch to start building your dream backyard getaway. Also included is an option to delete the garage for affordability. You can always add that later!

The one bath layout of the old wellington just wouldn't do for modern tastes. With some intelligent packaging, we've added a private bath for the master suite as well as a walk in closet with its own window. With two additional bedrooms there is plenty of space to grow while maintaining a bit of luxury in the meantime. Also note that we carried over the master bedroom cathedral ceiling from the original plan!
